Be ready to get grumpy and tell the truth at the same time.

Yep. That’s right. Usually the first thing that happens is you get mad. I get that you hate when you get mad. You might even hate yourself when you do it. (Hating yourself is never the right answer. EVER!)

For most of us, it’s the anger that lets us know we’ve had enough. No more being walked on. No more saying yes when you mean no. No more. Period.

Speaking up. Being that nice word: Assertive is what you WANT TO DO. But can you do it?
