Well, Christmas Eve my throat started closing up and by the morning a full-on cold had taken up residence in my body. I decided to take a breath and realize that being sick isn’t the end of the world because it is forcing me to take care of myself once again.
This holiday break I have used up a few boxes of Kleenex, taken mega doses of Vitamin C and generally, been lying around stuffed up. While I have been given the wonderful opportunity (smile) to embrace my health, I am knowing this holiday season is finding you embracing your life in your own way.
There is only one day left of 2005, decide now what your intention will be for 2006. Do you want to open yourself up to love? Commit to living a life of passion? Practice being kind to yourself? Learn a new skill? Gain new awareness? Allow your light to shine?
Imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like to be writing in your gratitude and acknowledgement journals?
Intentions keep you focused on what matters and supports you in making choices on a day-by-day basis. My intention for the past three years has focused on health and it will stay the same for 2006. I have not mastered my body yet and it still provides me with huge opportunities to discover who I am and what I am capable of. I want to keep growing spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Don’t you?
What do you want to practice in 2006? Claim it now. Set your intention. And get ready to watch your life unfold.
Here is to a healthy, happy and fearless 2006!
